1st Week of December
The first week of December has been a fun and busy one at the Willows! We celebrated December birthdays, decorated the Christmas trees, made photo ornaments of each tenant, enjoyed carolers from Living Word Church, and baked homemade Christmas cookies! We are looking forward to the rest of the holiday season!

We enjoyed honoring our Willows of Arbor Lakes tenants for Veteran’s day. We looked at photos of the tenants in their uniforms, as well as other photos taken from their time in service. We read the history of Veteran’s Day and a few poems as well as sang many patriotic songs, including the songs honoring each branch of the military. Pictured: Jerry, Jim, Marianne and Morrie.

Several tenants worked hard the past few days making homemade pumpkin cut-out cookies for residents and guests who came to the Willows on Halloween. The tenants made their own dough, cut-out, baked, frosted and sprinkled the cookies. They were a delicious hit!
