We Love Halloween!
At The Willows of Arbor Lakes, we love Halloween! We had a blast celebrating with one another, and we were so thankful for the families from the Living Word homeschool group that came to visit us for Halloween this year. At Willows of Arbor Lakes, our residents love gathering for social events with music, dancing, and food. Our most recent event included all three, and it was an Oktoberfest success! Mark Stillman was a hit at our Oktoberfest celebration. The residents loved dancing, tapping their toes, clapping, and singing along to the accordion music. They also enjoyed pretzels with cheese and German chocolate cake.

We celebrated August birthdays with cake, ice cream, and entertainment by Scott Beaumont. Happy birthday to Esther, Louise, Pete, Susan, and Mary! The campers from Small World Learning Center were back to read to the residents again. Many of the kids remembered residents from their previous visit and requested to sit with them again. The children put many smiles on our resident’s faces with their visit!
